Yes. That is most likely a sensor malfunction and will do no harm. Zero pressure is when you worry.
I have a 95 four-banger and the gauge is normally around 55-65. It is a little high, but the manual says that the pressure relief wont kick in until 75. So I guess it is still in good operation range.
did some searching, and found that is could be the ambient outside temperature sensor
if the guage reads full every time you turn on the switch, it's probably a short in the ground. you'll have to trace and inspect the ground wire from the guage to the tank. this will probably include dropping the tank. i would run the tank almost out of fuel 1st (makes it a LOT lighter).
It should fit but, the crank position sensor produces a signal by referring to the flex plate. In 1991 Jeep went to a Chrysler fuel injection system and the windows that the crank sensor reads are different. So in other words it should bolt up but then it will not start.
Use regular power steering fluid, the old kind that looks kind of like engine oil.
16.2 bar = 1,620 kPa
Your pressure gauge may be broken....If it fluctuates, then you know its not your gauge, but if your gauge always reads 80, it may need to be replaced.
Reverse airflow feels a chamber inside the gauge and reads the pressure equal to the inside of the tyre its that simple. Same for air compressure, when the pressure is applied it seals the valve on the gauge end then back pressure fills the chamber inside the gauge when you release the gauge from the tyre valve the pressure has gone!!
A manometer is a pressure gauge, "Manometer" reads extremely low pressures that are very close to atmospheric pressures, "pressure gauges" read much larger pressures.
It means the filter needs replacement
It is an electrical devise that "measures" the oil pressure and converts it into an electrical signal that a computer or the gauge cluster reads.
my gauge reads 10 volts drive half mile it go to 8 Alternator is defective and needs replacing.
I have a 2001 sport i just bought and the red oil pressure gauge goes on whenever the vechile comes to a stop or even idles....my mechanic told me it was an idiot light...its just the oil going back to its lower cylinders. Suggest you have the oil pressure checked. If pressure is ok, replace the sending unit/switch.
If the DIC shut it down and the Oil is full then you shouldhave it serviced/replaced. Both can't be right.
Need to hook up a oil pressure gauge in the place were the oil sending unit is on the engine and see what the gauge reads, You should have no less then 20 LBS. at a idle. If it does not have oil pressure then pump is bad.
that is too low of pressure.
It's low on freon.
