if the guage reads full every time you turn on the switch, it's probably a short in the ground. you'll have to trace and inspect the ground wire from the guage to the tank. this will probably include dropping the tank. i would run the tank almost out of fuel 1st (makes it a LOT lighter).

Hi im Mike from Mn, I also have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee with front brakes that are partially engaged so that they heat up. I got them to release after pulling the fuse and relay for the ABS IN THE FUSE BOX under the hood. The brakes work ok now and have not stuck back on but the ABS system is no longer working. I went to the Jeep dealer and they said they had never heard of this problem before.They said if I can make it happen again they may be able to figure it out. Have you checked the aerial is pluged in to the radio. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- If it's the stock stereo, these go bad eventually......as well as the speaker ports on the back of the stereo... Just replaced mine with an after-market stereo for $99 at Circuit City.... Works fine now...
