All foods spoil at different speeds, depending mostly on how much bacteria is there

to begin with. In chicken there is a LOT of bacteria. The meat in chicken salad is cooked, killing the bact., but the mayo the salad is made with is mostly raw egg which

has plenty of live bacteria that multiplies rapidly between 40 and 140 degrees.

If the sandwich was sort of warm to begin with and the car is 90-100 degrees it will

get funky the quickest. On the other hand if it was pretty cold and the car is very hot,

like 125 or more, the sand. will go from pretty safe to cooked (again pretty safe).

How safe or spoiled something is depends a lot on a persons immune system and stomach contents. We all take in plenty of bacteria every day that stomach acid and

white blood cells kill. I'm a healthy adult, and wouldn't be scared of it even after a few hours but wouldn't give it to a small child, old, or sick person.
