Your are certainly correct in saying that Fletcher Henderson got very little credit for his fine works. He was behind many of the great bands during that era, but received little credit. Here are some songs he wrote: "When Buddha Smiles," "King Porter Stomp," "Blue Skies," and "Down South Camp Mereting." He continued to write for Bennie Goodman during the 1940s until he suffered a stroke and passed away a year later December 28, 1952.
