First, a brief disclaimer: in answering your question, I'm assuming that you are only using Limewire in way that does not violate copyright law. Much of the content downloaded from LimeWire and other music/file sharing services is shared in breach of various countries' copyright laws. This behavior is not condoned or supported by this contributor or WikiAnswers. That said, there are legitimate uses for LimeWire and similar services, and I answer on the grounds that you are knowingly using the service in a way that complies with local and international law.
In order to add the music to your iPod, you must first add the music to iTunes. The process is easier if you have all the files you want to add in one folder, so if they aren't already, I'd suggest creating a folder on your computer and putting the music there. In iTunes, open the File menu at the upper left hand corner and choose 'Add to Library' (for a Mac) or 'Add Folder to Library' (for a PC). Choose the folder containing your music and it will be added to iTunes. From there simply sync your iPod as you normally would.
you have to use itunes.
drag your music from limewire to itunes and sync.
i don't see why u wouldn't want to use itunes
Right click the song you want, then go down to "Add to playlist", then choose the playlist you want to add it to.
If you're looking for them to put music on your iPod; there is apps for that. There is many apps for free music, they work too. But for PC there is Music.BearShare.com and there MP3Dose.com . Hope I helped! ;D
Legally?? You can at least try in some fan-based sites and forums, 100% free And oh, there are some blogs dedicated in jrock music updates and downloads too.
Limewire. You can put them on mp3's and ipods from there too(:
Note:iTunes isn't a rip off, it's actually a lot cheaper than buying CDs and you can choose not to download all the songs, also, downloading music for free from places like Limewire is as illegal as taking a CD straight from the store and walking out without paying. Several people who download from Limewire have been sued for quite a lot of money, too, apparently.ElilieBasically, songs that you pay for are legal, but songs that are free are illegal. To get free songs download Limewire Basic (the bottom option) from: http:/www.limewire.com, then open it up and type whatever song it is you are looking for and click downloadThis should take about 1 minute, depending on the length of the song e.g.: i kissed a girl by Katy Perry takes about one minute, and Halo by Beyonce about three. After this is complete, the song should go straight into your iTunes Library ready to be sync'd onto your iPod/iPhone etc.Make sure iTunes is OPEN and minimized whilst you are on Limewire, so the song can go straight to iTunes. There are other sites but I prefer this one to the others.
You use to be able too, now Limewire is being sued. So, I don't know another way to get free music sadly. :/
Limewire is a file-sharing technology that allows its users to share data with one another. Often it is used to share music, and most often that music is copyrighted. Filesharing copyrighted music is ILLEGAL and should not be done. DO NOT put your backups of your purchased CDs on Limewire. DO NOT try to obtain music through Limewire. As a general precaution, do not even use Limewire; there are too many possibilities of illegal implication.
I myself have an iPod touch and i download my music from Limewire, and then transfer it to itunes, it works just fine. i also download music off the internet and it seems to work.I would be carful bout down loading it from Linewire onless you have a virus scaner because some peoplle i now use limewire and have been getting virusses that pretty much shut down their computer. The computers can be fixed but still.
No. Why would you do that?Just buy the iPod at Walmart, and then getITUNES.It's like the best!!!!If you don't believe me go too.....Google.com!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thnx!O_o
Once you've downloaded, go to the list of your downloaded music. Then, drag it out onto the desktop. Then, drag it into itunes, that is the easiest way to transfer music. You can listen to it on Limewire by double clicking it but it is low quality and too much hassle.
Right click the song you want, then go down to "Add to playlist", then choose the playlist you want to add it to.
YouTube, Last.FM and Limewire are among places where you can find music by Niklas Strömstedt. There are more, too. Use the link and start your search.
Not necessarry! U can just download itunes from the internet and also limewire and download your fav. songs... But remember, you wwill have to pay too! xD
I had a Philips Mp3 player before I got my Ipod and well I would Down Load the music and videos from Limewire and my video and music would automatic transfer to Window Media if it would appear I would Select it on Sync and Drag the song or video and synchronize it and there it was I hope my experience Works for yours too :)
