The heated oxygen sensor, or O2 sensor is located at the exhaust system before the catalytic converter. Removal & Installation
# Raise the vehicle and support it with jackstands. # Disengage the O2 sensor wiring connector and remove it using tool YA 8875, or its equivalent. # Inspect the threads of the new O2 sensor. Apply an anti-seize compound only if there is none visible on the threads. Be careful not to contaminate the sensor tip with any foreign compounds. # Install the sensor using tool YA 8875, or its equivalent and engage the wiring connector.
The 2007 Jeep Grand-Cherokee has single overhead cam (SOHC).
the Laredo is a Cherokee. it's just a different trim package. there's also the briarwood, sport, wagon, etc. it's all the same. yes, the radiators are the same. so is EVERYTHING ELSE in or on the vehicle. so, you could buy the electric seats from a Laredo and put them in a sport. or you could by the rear hatch with the wiper and put it on a briarwood. as long as you have the wiring and switches you can change the trim on any Cherokee. as far as the drivetrains they are exactly the same... As long as you are not trying to put a Grand Cherokee radiator in a regular Cherokee.
look next to the firewall on the head . just under the valve cover and it will only have one wire going to it There are actually TWO on my 1996 4.0L XJ. One on the front - top of the head, and one on the driver's side-top of the head next to the rockerbox. The front sensor feeds the computer, the side sensor feeds the idiot light or temperature gauge.
It can be found just behind the oil filter on the underside of the engine. Its has a single Alan key bolt attaching it to the front of the engine. :-)
In 1972 the rock group 'Ten Years After' had the hit single "I'd Love to Change the World" from the album "A Space in Time".
Its black/purple depanding but just one single wire
hello
The average cost for replacing an oxygen censor is between 40.00 and 80.00 for a single oxygen censor. Depending on the model of your vehicle, you may have to replace more than one.

I'm a single woman and i need to change the air charge temperature sensor on my 1993 olds cutlass supreme. i need a "how to" please.
it is located just behind where the exhaust pipes "y" together
There IS an oxygen sensor BEFORE the catalytic converter and that's the one that typically needs to be replaced. Not all vehicles have a second oxygen sensor after the catalytic converter and of those that do, it almost requires physical damage to the vehicle to damage the rear sensor. The front oxygen sensor screws into the exhaust manifold, typically right where the exhaust comes together into a single pipe. It will be a screw in device that looks similar to a spark plug and it should have 2 or more wires out the top. If you crawl under the car and look you will know for sure.
Tsalagi (The Cherokee language) uses an alphabet, not single representative symbols.
Most cam sensors are attached with a single bolt. just a matter of locating the sensor, removing the wire to it then unbolting it. Refitting is the reverse of the above.
There is actually two on this car. One is on the exhaust manifold with a single wire under the hood and. One is after the cat under the car
IF YOU HAVE SINGLE EXAUST YOU HAVE ONE ON EACH SIDE OF MOTOR THAT IS 2 AND THEN YOU EITHER HAVE ONE OR 2 BEHIND THE CAT CONVERTOR
The 2014 Jeep Cherokee has single overhead cam (SOHC).
