Before you replae the deck, check all of the fuses. If those are good pull the deck out(youll have to get some keys to remove the radio, you can get them from Walmart for a couple bucks) and make sure all of the connections are good and there is no exposed wire. If that's good, it could be your deck OR most likely one of your speakers is grounding out. Youll need to disconnect all of your speaker lines from the deck, then reconect one set of speaker lines. If that works, disconnect that then try another. Repeat until you find one that doesnt work, this line will be the one that's grounding out. Youll need to trace the wire until you find where the wire is damaged. If your speakers are grounding out, then putting in a new deck wont fix it.
AnswerIf you have power and the antenna & speakers are hooked up, then you probably just have a defective radio. If the radio is indeed defective, a salvage yard is a good place to find an OEM replacement. AnswerMy radio amplifier quit working and I found a fuse that was 20 am that was labeled for the radio amplifier, and the tow package lights that was blown.Replacing the fuse did the trick.
