Sadly, iTunes files cannot be transferred from computer to computer or onto a USB flash drive. The reason why is the files are "locked". This means that the files cannot be opened on any other computer that isn't authorized by the iTunes account holder.
I don't know if you have already tried this, but make sure you know which folder the music goes into once it has completed, then, on itunes, selcted "file" then "add file to library" and browse the folders to find the file you want, alternatively, if it is a complete album, select "add folder to library" and browse in the same way, your music should then appear in your itunes library
that's not right.. I have LimeWire but i removed, but it put the music i downloaded from LimeWire over to my iPod.Try to get FrostWire, its the same, just more safe.
Save downloaded files into documents folder then you open new folder in documents and send music into it.
The iTunes library is where iTunes stores your music. You can put music in the library from music on your computer or from your CDs. You only need to set up an iTunes account if you wish to purchase items from the iTunes store.
go to itunes
Open up iTunes and the folder your music is stored in. Drag and drop it from the folder into iTunes.
Copy the file/folder you have downloaded into 'My Music' (found within 'My Documents') Once the music has copied got to itunes and under file select 'Add folder to Library'. Find the folder you just added and select it. itunes will do the rest.
You have to tell iTunes where you put the folder. Go to Preferences -> Advanced and choose the place, where your iTunes music library should be.
You can upload music from many websites, CD's, iTunes, etc and save them in a folder on your computer.
Since you have iTunes installed, and you want the music Of your iPod to be on your documents, there is a folder called "iTunes" when you click "music" ALL your music might be there. If not, then you have to make sure that when you download ALL your music with the USB cable (charger),or,Its easier to just put ALL your music on iTunes
well here is an better way without burning anything (1)you create a folder under music and name it anything for ex (itunes music) (2)you select the song or songs from itunes and right click copy (3)you go back to the folder you created (itunes music) and you click paste (4)then it will show up as an mp3 file on the folder (5)you just copy the music you put on the folder to your mp3's music folder and then walla its like magic you got music
Clicking on the music's icon and dragging it into the iTunes window will add it to the iTunes library or select Add To Library... from the iTunes File menu.
There should be a folder in your documents called "Limewire". Inside that folder is the "Saved" Folder, which is where the files should be. While you are running itunes, click file, then add file or folder, navigate to the "Saved" folder, and select the music you want to add.Alternatively you can go into the "Saved" folder, cut all the files and put them into your "Music" folder.
Put all of the music files in a folder on your desktop then go to the corner in itunes and click add file to library and it should add it.
What you have to do is locate the shared folder from Limewire (the source file where all the music is downloaded to) and import songs into Itunes (file-add folder to library) and select it. BAM! it starts to take all the music into itunes and will attempt to convert any music that Itunes doesn't recognize. I'M NICE!
You just have to point Limewire to the folder in which you are currently storing your music through the Limewire preferences.
1) Open iTunes. 2) "File" 3) "Add File to Library", or if you want to add all songs in a folder, "Add Folder to Library" 4) Double click the file or folder you want and click OK.
