contact your local Authorized Mitsubishi Dealer the radio. Once the Part Number and the Serial Number are in hand, your Dealer can access the security code for that radio. Customer Relations Call Center at 1-888-MITSU2010 (1-888-648-7820) they will provide you with security code and steps to reset the radio as long as you have the Part Number and Serial Number for your radio unit. Turn the key to the ON position (do not start the car). Leave it that way for approx. one hour. Then the radio will go back to the CODE sequence. You will then need to enter the correct code to get the radio to work.

Remove both battery cables. Then, put them back on. It should then say CODE instead of OFF. I found my CODE in the glove box on the right side of the glove box was a sticker. The code starts with RC (stands for radio code) After the RC is a 4 digit number. My was RC8505. If you don't find yours there look around for any stickers on the car, it it there somewhere. knawledge2007
