A Yamaha FG160 acoustic guitar was available in the early 70's, possibly even in the late 60's. To tell for sure, you may try contacting a music store with the serial number.
It is not stated in his strap, but i am guessing it is a Yamaha strap considering that he uses a Yamaha guitar. Hope that answers your question. :P
Currently an excellent condition Yamaha SG200 retails second hand for about $300- $350. In order to find the date built, you'd need to cross reference the serial number against any of the date charts or calculators available online (see related links).

it seems that it is not, I have been trying a long while to by one. Maybe Yamaha have a new one in the pipeline? Otherwise, by the number of people trying to buy an ezag I think Yamaha are dumb to take it out of production!
