if your talking about silverburst Guitars their great i have an epiphone les paul silverburst and it is awsome. It feels great when i play and it sounds great too. So yes they are good.
No silvertone guitars are very cheap and they suck
The modern line of Silvertone guitars are very cheap and ideal for a first guitar or a beginner. The vintage line of Silvertone guitars are awesome and can be expensive and hard to come by.
no its not good..
its bad
-- It really depends on the year- the original Silvertones were made in the sixties by Danelectro. They were sold at Sears, but don't let that fool you. Some have some really good tones, but don't go in expecting to get a Gibson Les Paul sound out of one. Now, however, the Silvertone name has been bought out and used to distribute cheap Stratocaster-style guitars... They aren't that great. As with most things, you get what you pay for. So in short: Old Silvertone = good. New Silvertone = not-so-good.
Silvertone guitars are relatively expensive. However, it depends on the type of acoustic guitar you are looking for. Vintage ones cost around $500.00. However, some are cheaper or more expensive depending on the model and brand you choose.
Yes its a full size electric starter guitar.
At that price the guitars are equally flawed and the decision is left to the individual's perspective. Personally, a starcaster would be my choice for a safe purchase. Silvertone is less known. Honestly, they're both decent.
There are companies that make generic bridge pins, so just visit your local Guitar Center with your guitar and they should be able to help you.
Well considering the Silvertone Guitar was made at around the same time as the Skittle Trumpet which was created by professional Trumpeter David Smith, it would be approximately 56 years old.

it is true that it doesn't matter, but when it comes to the price of an electric and accoustic guitar depends on the brand, I've seen some accoustic guitars that are more than an electric guitar(Silvertone) that comes with the amplifier, picks, tuner, strings, and DVD. So really, when you get a guitar, choose the one that you like best and then find the best brand (like silvertone). Nope. It really doesn't matter. I think the reason most people seem to play acoustic first though is because of the cost. You won't have to go out and buy the guitar, and amp, and cables etc.. if you just get an acoustic.

200 or 300 bucks late 60's
Squire Stratocaster.
No, please leave the internet at the next set of lights.
There are several good guitar options for beginners depending on if you are interested in learning acoustic or electric guitar. A Fender Squire Strat is a good electric guitar starter that is recommended because there are fewer coiled strings.
I would just say let the acoustic guitar be, and buy a hollow-body electric guitar.
A Dean electric guitar can be purchased from the Music Room, DJM Music and Musician's Friend websites. It can also be found in good guitar shops like Rainbow Music and Guitar Guitar.
