try fuel pump it could be bad. or an ignition coil. it just all depends on the motor and the year and the mileage but could be something simple if it will turn back on ater a while so im saying fuel pump is the problem most likely
All you have to do is unplug the wires going to the transfer case, and plug it back up if you ever have to use 4x4 again. If you do want to change it to 4x2 it will cost you alot.
Whats the Question again? :)
I have 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee with a similar problem. i found that wires between the body and the door on the drivers side were all broken. I spliced the wires back together again and everything works fine.
try the fan electric relay. my wife has a 97 Cherokee country and the fan would stay on after the car was shut off until the battery would die. switched that and never happened again.
Hi im Mike from Mn, I also have a 2000 jeep grand Cherokee with front brakes that are partially engaged so that they heat up. I got them to release after pulling the fuse and relay for the ABS IN THE FUSE BOX under the hood. The brakes work ok now and have not stuck back on but the ABS system is no longer working. I went to the Jeep dealer and they said they had never heard of this problem before. They said if I can make it happen again they may be able to figure it out. Any info you have about this problem would be greatly appreciated Mike
more than likely you have a short in your wiring
Piper Halliwell from "Charmed" drove three different Jeep vehicles throughout the series: a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, a silver 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, and a later model 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo.
Several things could be causing the 1994 Cherokee to have this problem. There could be a drop in fuel pressure. There could also be a problem with the ignition circuit like a coil pack breaking down as it gets hot. Check these areas to start with.
Have your Throttle Position Sensor Checked. Big cause of this. Do you have any check engine light come on?
crank sensor ?
why China still has so many poor people ?

My car would die after driving 20 minutes because the fuel pump was over heating and shutting off. Full tank 40 minutes. the pressure was good 47psi but only untell it got hot then shut off and I would have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for it to cool again
Try shutting your door again, just to be sure.
