pull the door panels and see if the rivets holding the actuators in place have been sheared. they are very thin and don't hold up to the rigorous movement of the actuator. I have had mine worked on five times, (front and back) while under warranty and once more, (done right) myself since. I was actually told that it was the actuator that was the problem but when I tore into it myself the actuator was fine. I screwed a pilot hole into the center of the rivet, then secured them with a self tapping screw. it cost me 6 cents for the screws and about 45 minutes. If your actuators are bad they are about $28 a piece.. under warranty they were charging the warr. company $600
check either end of the dash when you open the doors the fuse panel doors are the pull type
The Doors was created in 1965.
Residential security doors are better secured than other types of doors. Residential security doors require more than a simple key to open, the doors require permission from a guard that works inside.
Crazy as it sounds. I've found this on my 07 new body style silverados. Its all the speakers. You can fit 6.5" speakers in the front and in the back doors on the extended cab models. Just replace the speakers and it'll work fine.

The doors on a 1984 Chevy Silverado truck are adjusted by first loosening the retaining bolts. The door is then shifted into the desired position and the bolts re-tightened.
6.5" in the doors. Standard tweeter size (1.25" I think).

how do you unlock a 2006 Chevy silverado truck with a slim Jim? First, insert the slim Jim in between the door and the window. Next, feel around for the linkage bar that connects the lock to the door handle. Then you jiggle it forward to get it to unlock.
The Chevrolet Silverado comes in both 2 door and 4 door models. The regular model has 2 doors, the extended cab has rear access doors and the crew cab has 4 doors.

Yes, the bed dimensions are the same for 1999-2007(classic) there are only minor modifications to exterior/interior after 2002. As long as the truck topper is not for Crew Cab, full 4 doors, the bed will be the same.
