Does a valve trombone use bass cleft or treble cleft music?

The word is CLEF. Trombone music is typically written in bass clef. However, music can be found written in tenor and alto clef. Occassionally, treble clef is used.In many older, classical pieces there were three parts written: alto, tenor, and bass. The alto trombone played in alto clef, tenor in tenor clef, and bass in bass clef. Most modern music is written in bass clef.

That depends on the instrument. For example, trumpet music is typically written in treble clef, while trombone and tuba music is in bass clef. And, of course, variations on instruments (bass trumpet) can differ from the convention.

Why does b flat trombone not transpose on reading bass clef?

The Trombone does NOT transpose, the player does. With that said, if the music is written in Bb Bass Clef, one does transpose in Bass clef. Most Bass Clef music is in C Bass clef, but the player has learned how to read in concert pitch, so there is no transposition needed.

What is a treble clef and bass clef?

A treble clef and bass clef refer to music. A piano, for instance, is played by two hands....right hand plays notes on what is known as a treble clef, while the left hand plays on what is known as a bass clef. Most girls sing on the treble clef, since it can go very high. (Sopranos & Altos) Most guys sing on the bass clef, since it can go very low. (Tenors & Bass) Different kinds of instruments either play on the treble or bass clef.

What intrument in the orchestra uses the tenor c clef?

Several instruments make use of both bass and tenor clefs. The most common ones I can think of presently are the cello and the bassoon.
