axle bearing or brakes or pinion bearing
is the noise coming from the new fuel pump (in the tank)? if so the new fuel pump is bad
Wheel bearings, and if they're making that kind of noise your spindles could be shot by now too.
Your question is too broad. Expand on it a bit. When does it make the grinding nose, right after startup, after it's been running a hile, etc. where does the noise seem to originate from?
Grinding typically produces a harsh, abrasive noise that resembles the sound of metal scraping against metal or hard surfaces. It can vary in pitch and intensity, often described as a continuous, rattling, or screeching sound. This noise may evoke a sense of friction or wear, often associated with machinery or the movement of rough materials. The sound can be unsettling, indicating potential issues or the need for maintenance.
whistling noise from engine will be caused by a leaky gasket, sucking air. this is usually the intake manifold gasket
It depends on where the grinding noise is coming from. Most of the time the grinding is coming from the brakes and the brake pads need to be replaced. If they've been grinding for a while, the rotors will need to be resurfaced or replaced. Other possibilities for grinding are worn axle bearings, or a problem with the clutch. If the clutch goes out, there will be a grinding noise when you try to shift gears.
Its hard to say... do u know where the noise is coming from?
The grinding noise from your bike could be caused by issues with the chain, gears, or bearings. It is important to inspect and possibly replace these components to resolve the noise.
i have a grinding noise on the front left wheel. i have taken the calipa off and i have one brake pad that is shot. could it be that or can it still be the bearing. how can i find out.
your gears are grinding fu!
Bearing going bad?
We would need to know where the noise was coming from and under what conditions it made the noise in order to make an assessment.
The grinding noise is the brakes pads proably the noise is in the front. The front brake pads are easy to replace and is a do it yourself sort of thing. My guess is your brake light is coming on because of this condition. I assume your brake light has been coming on for a little while now.
Yes they can make a grinding noise, if they are bad.
A grinding noise when braking can occur when the brake pads are going bad. You are hearing the brake grinding on the metal discs.
possibly brake pads worn down
Maybe it's coming from the rear brakes.
