Nope.But you can buy the 6th string and be able to watch every lesson and learn the guitar the proper way.

All a 12 string is is a 6 string guitar, but for every string there's an octave higher string right next to it, and when you play you hold both those strings down at the same time, giving you a little fuller and different sound than a 6 string. So I guess the player just switches when he wants to between the two. However, some double-necks vary in number of strings. If you really want to play, go and buy a basic do-it-yourself double-neck guitar teaching book...like i did....
What kind of guitar should you buy on a budget?
It really depends on what kind of guitar you want, and what your budget is like. I just purchased an acoustic/electric Ovation celebrity for only two hundred dollars at a pawn shop. If your looking for around a 300 dollar guitar in my opinion ovation is hard to beat. As for electrics, I recently played an Ibanez that was about the 200- 300 dollar range that played nicely, also Schecter makes very nice affordable guitars. I wouldn't recommend purchasing an electric for under 100$

A 4-string bass guitar might be a better guitar to buy for the beginner. It is easier to play than the 5-string bass. The 50string bass can be good for more intermediate players. Because of its extended range, it gives off a better quality of sound.

It would cost about £2 ($3). However, if you buy the string and string it yourself, you will never need to worry about breaking a string again. As a standard, you should change the strings on your guitar every two months or so, as the natural oils in your hands and fingers will decay the strings and deaden the sound.

Yes, go to a music store and buy a pack of strings. If it's an acoustic, take the pegs on the bridge out and replace the string, otherwise, just unwind the string from the top and push it through the body.
