I think its kinda simple:
If your car takes that long to start...(More than three to four seconds)
Get to a Mechanic
second to more directly answer the question..
Either the lead to the radio Memory is hooked to the ignition incorrectly.
Losses power when turned to the "power Starter" position.
OR
The battery is so weak that when under load it doesn't have enough "juice" to power the memory wire from its "normal" position.
Looking close at the context of your question and taking out the "I Dont know anything factor..."
I am guessing it is clear you have an after market radio hooked up and it is not hooked up correctly. See Memory wire in your direction (usually Yellow)
or check for a blown fuse or bad wire with an Audi Radio. (installed by the factory)
More on "SAFE MODE":
***When you loose power to the memory the radio will stop remembering the CODE...***
This is a safety feature in Audi(s) to reduce the number of radios stolen around the world.
Great feature, YES and NO...
not many Audi radios are stolen because of it.
HEY , When you know something ... PASS it on!
D SUPER MECH-NIC
it should work fine unless you have it unplugged for too long. i have replaced batteries in these cars before and did not have to reset the radio
Radio Disney launched in November of 96.
contact your local Authorized Mitsubishi Dealer the radio. Once the Part Number and the Serial Number are in hand, your Dealer can access the security code for that radio. Customer Relations Call Center at 1-888-MITSU2010 (1-888-648-7820) they will provide you with security code and steps to reset the radio as long as you have the Part Number and Serial Number for your radio unit. Agents are available Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT). It's free :)
J'écoute la radio - I listen to the radio
It depends on how many lines they have. The more lines, the faster they can be answered. If they have only one line, the DJ has to answer, hang up, wait for the line to reset and ring again before the cycle repeats....
Turn radio on and stay that way as long as it need and he will reset himself. some bug dnk a lot of people have that problem.

What you described tells me that the power was cut off completely for a moment, long enough to reset the radio. Check your battery connections, make sure they are clean and tight.
That all depends on if you abuse the starter by cranking too long. I have 170,000 on original starter.
how long was the first radio telescope
When you disconnect the starter, you disconnect the battery. Take too long to change out the starter and the computer will lose its charge. The ECM will relearn fairly quickly its fuel mixture setup (100-300 miles). The only thing that hurts is usually the SEC lock on the stereo. If you don't know the 4 digit code you have problems only the dealer can fix.
very simple. if your starter is bad your car battery should be fine.. so turn on the headlights and the car radio and open the windows. do the lights work? does the radio play? do the power windows work? if yes then the battery sounds pretty good! if your battery is low on amperage it will not be able to start your car but may work on some eleectronics. if the car will not start but seems to have a charge in the battery. you may want to get a bar or a long metal pipe and hit the starter a bit, this may move the starter enough to get it spinning again (happens alot with cadillacs)
Nothing is "solid"; there are always holes, gaps in matter. An object APPEARS solid when the wavelength of the radiation used is longer than the size of the gaps or holes. The radio waves that radio telescopes use are several millimeters long, and the mesh in a radio telescope dish is smaller than that - so to a radio wave, the dish looks solid.

The 1997 Chevy Cavalier starter bolt size is 9/16 by 3.5" inches long. You will need three starter bolts to secure the starter.
disconnect cables at battery, then remove wires from starter, then take out 3 mounting bolts that hold starter in,sometimes you can remove wires when starter is out, if they are long enough.
Where is the starter on a 1997 Honda Civic?
