someone hooked up the radio wrong...rewire... if its the original radio...haven't a clue.. Dave answer you have no constant live running to the memory pary of the radio all it takes is to change 2 wires over unfortunatly i forgot which 2 but any mechanic could advise

Battery is probably weak. If cranking voltage drops below 9 volts, you can lose memory of radio. The other possibility is that the rechargeable battery in the radio is weak and won't hold memory for a few seconds that the system voltage drops below 12v when cranking.
