Why is Garth brooks not on iTunes?

Brooks, along with Kid Rock, AC/DC, and The Beatles are among the few iTunes holdouts. They claim that itunes is damaging to the music industry because it allows the customers to get only the singles as opposed to getting the entire album, ruining the artistic integrity of an album. There is also some dispute over what percentage of the price per download should go to artist royalties and what percentage should go to itunes.

The iTunes store licenses the music they supply from the record labels who own the rights to distribute the music. If iTunes does not have a deal for some particular music then they cannot supply it. When Garth Brooks retired from the music business in 2001 he set up a deal that gave exclusive rights to Wal-Mart to distribute his music which has prevented iTunes, and others, from supplying it.

i'm not totally positive but i think it's like the reason why he isn't on i tunes. he wants people to actually go out and buy the album or videos instead of being able to just watch them or (illegally) dowload them from YouTube.
