Bad bearing?
Leak onto engine component?
If you can't detect a leak but if you have white smoke (steam) coming out of the exhaust, you may have a blown head gasket or a cracked cylinder head.
Gross evaps leak. Caused by, the emission control. common parts are the gas cap, purge solenoid, vapor canister, o2 , or cat converter. go get a smoke test.
is it visually leaking oil from some where? if not it is probaly blowing blue smoke out of the exhaust which means the piston rings in the engine are bad, you need to rebuild your engine or drop in a new one
I have found the best way is to find the main vacuum line. You can take it off the power break booster. Then light yourself a big fat cigar and using your mouth blow smoke into the line. The smoke will identify where the leak is because you can see the smoke coming out. For about 200.00 you can buy the real tool. For less then 1.00 you can get a cigar.
From my understanding its caused by a bad seal in the engine, its actually oil u are seeing and the smell is really odd mine does the same thing when parked on a hill

because you need a heat shield to keep it from smoking.
You need to replace the power steering pump. If it is leaking, it is going out.
possibly blown head gasket
YesYes
smoke a blunt
my dodge has the same problem, it is the power steering return hose being cracked or cut.
Probably not smoke. Your heater core may have a small leak and the "smoke you see is actually steam.Had a similar problem with an F-250 P/U. Cost about $100.00 parts and labor. But that was back in the day...
Smoke coming out of steering box usually means the fluid is burned. It can also mean that the steering gear is failing.
only thing that will cause smoke in steering column,is an electrical short in the wiring inside the steering column
I also have a 1993 Cadillac DeVille and smoke is coming out of the steering wheel. wish I had an answer.
