I had the same problem and found that the subwoofer amplifier was apparently defective. Unplugged tha amp and everything works OK now.
Amp is behind cover in right rear of vehicle. Amp can be unplugged by removing cup holder.
Jim Jim, You are the man! I did exactly what you wrote and the radio works. Thanks! Scott
If this was my truck, I would look at replacing the headlamp switch if you have checked the fuse and have checked the power going INTO the fuse for that circuit. Good luck. I had the same problem ,I checked the fuses and couldn't find the blown fuse. There are 2 different fuses. I can't remember the other one so look really close for all the fuses. I think it might have been the same one for the wipers but look real hard and you may find another one blown..
Are you sure you have and alarm. E46 did not come with a pre installed alarm. It was a dealer installed item. You can checked by removing the trim cover on the inside roof trim just behind the opening for the sunroof. Just pry if off with something thin like a credit card or something. If theres a sensor in there then you most likely have an alarm, if not then you don't. The most common problem would be the alarm siren that is accessed from under the hood. Search for E46 alarm install to see how to get to that.
Did you check the Crank position sensor , its a pain to replace on the side of trany under the car Could also be a fuel pump problem, Suggest that you have it checked for codes, and have fuel pressure checked while it is acting up.
I checked again and found a broke cable. Thanks
b/c it wants to go play...haha....u probably have a transfer case problem that is best checked out by a mechanic b/c u can tear up alot of unbroken parts trying to diagnose the problem urself...
No, it is not, have her immediately checked by your veternarian, she could be developing a problem which could cause a problem with the birth of her pups.
Your battery is not being charged because of a problem with the charging system Whether its a problem with the alternator / voltage regulator , the serpentine belt etc . you should have the charging system checked
could be a problem with your alarm, have you recently installed a new car alarm? Have it checked out by your dealer.
Usually either fuel cap not installed properly or a problem in the emission control system - have vehicle scanned to determine problem
If your 2000 Ford Expedition shuts off while driving it you should discontinue use of the vehicle immediately. Then have the vehicle towed to your local dealership or mechanic shop to address the problem,
It means that there is a problem with your vehicle's braking system. IMMEDIATELY take the vehicle to a shop to have the brake system checked and/or repaired.
The problem is probably in the mixing door not operating properly. It could be in the control panel or the door itself. It just has to be checked out. GoodluckJoe----------------------------------------------------------------------; Blend Door Actuator
try replacing the crank senser,.
a similar question earlier indicated that it may be a suspension problem and should be checked immediately.
Check the wires that plug into the light sounds like a bad groung or no power goining to the headlight. If that's not the problem check the dimmer switch.
I had the same problem with my 2005 ford expedition... it was my chamshaft....... The repair is expensive... But it fixed the problem......
