Biotic means living. Ecosystems has 3 components the Producers,Consumers, and the Decomposers. The consumers is the one who consumes what the producers produce, one example of Consumers is humans and they are biotic (living). Biotic is like a Consumers because Consumers are living organisms, one example of producers is the plants and they are living also, plants give foods to humans and the humans eat what the producers produce.
Athletes can increase their glycogen stores through carbohydrate loading, a technique where they consume high-carbohydrate foods in the days leading up to an event. This helps maximize glycogen storage in the muscles and liver, providing more energy for performance. Additionally, athletes can optimize glycogen synthesis by consuming a combination of carbohydrates and protein after intense exercise.
One factor contributing to the global increase in obesity is the widespread availability and consumption of high-calorie, processed foods high in sugar and unhealthy fats. This shift towards energy-dense diets combined with sedentary lifestyles has led to a rise in obesity rates worldwide.
Proper nutrition is essential for athletes as it provides the necessary fuel for energy, helps in muscle repair and recovery, and supports overall performance. Nutrient-rich foods can enhance endurance, strength, and speed, while inadequate nutrition can lead to fatigue, poor recovery, and increased risk of injury. It is important for athletes to have a well-balanced diet tailored to their specific needs to optimize their performance.
Factors that can affect flavors and cooking of foods include the choice of ingredients, cooking technique employed, level of freshness of the ingredients, seasoning and spice selection, and the cooking temperature and time. Other factors include the pH level of the dish, the presence of certain enzymes, and the chemical composition of the ingredients used.
Biotic factors are living things and abiotic factors are non-living things. They interact in that living things depend on non-living things to survive. One example of them interacting is when the sun (abiotic) helps make foods for the plants (biotic).

Abiotic factors that can limit growth in populations include temperature, water availability, soil nutrients, pH levels, and sunlight. These factors can impact the ability of organisms to survive, reproduce, and thrive in a given environment.
