in a word yes when you turn the engine off theoil pressure drops quickly but the water pressure drops slowly so water will get into the sump then your crankshaft journals fail
when your looking at the engine look for a red color dip stick, similar to theoil dip stick. always ck the level after the car has been driven and has idled forat least 2 min and eng needs to be running. good luck
Depends on where you ride, the numbers mean thickness and it depends on temp. Lower the first number the easyer it starts in cold temp and higher the second number the better it can stand high temps. A good 0W-40 or if you dont live in a cold place 10-50 should do a little better. I run Amsoil 0W-40.
if you own a 4 wheel drive model it will be behind the front fender, there will be an access panel, if you own a 2 wheel drive it will be on the drivers side of the oil pan to the rear. If it's like my 94 v6 bravada 4X4, its behind the driver side headlight, must remove air filter to get at it. under the vehicle, next to the oil pan. Screws off straight down. Look under the driver seat area of the undercarriage.
You can check it either on the side stand or center - see the note from the repair manuale Caution:Never fill with engine oil above the MAX mark in theoil level inspection glass.• Wait at least 10 minutes after a test run beforechecking the oil; place the motorcycle on its centrestand and check the oil level, topping up ifnecessary.Upper ring marking ....................................... MAXLower ring marking ........................................ MINL Note:The centre of the inspection glass corresponds tothe MAX fill level if the motorcycle is standing on itsside stand
One of 2 things to check. First is to make sure you have enough oil in the engine, check the dipstick. Second is your oil pump may be wearing out. Chevy has a neat little safety measure so when your engine does not have a safe amount of oil, the engine will shut itself off. With either problem, when you are at a higher idle theoil is either splashed around enough or the pump is pumping faster and raising the oil pressure. As always, check the easiest thing first, your oil. JC
First of all ... one trillion cubic meters is kind of a big tank. It's enough to cover theoil state of Texas to a depth of 1.45 meters !But of that's the question you want answered, then we can certainly do the math, even though it's quite clear that the answer has no physical significance and is ofno practical use to anyone.(1012) / (11,574) = 86,400,553 seconds = 1,000.0064 daysWe're guessing that the question should have read "one billion cubic meters".Then the answer would have been "1 day", with accuracy of 0.00065 %.That must be where the peculiar number "11574" came from.
