Yes you can

crossing over.
I have seen it both ways. Usually it is the bulb which is a few bucks. The ballast will cost more and could cost $15-$30 bucks depending on type. If you have another bulb that is working, swap it with the flicker light and see if the problem goes away. If the swapped bulb works, I always put the bad bulb in the fixture where the good bulb came from. If the bad bulb now works, you could have a seating problem with the bulb. If it flickers, replace it.
Yes, a V6 Vortec engine can be installed in place of the stock 2.2L engine in a 1996 S10. However, there may be additional modifications required due to differences in engine mounts, exhaust, wiring, and cooling systems between the two engines. It's recommended to consult with a mechanic or automotive specialist for a successful engine swap.
Yes, that's a reasonable swap.
Skill Swap (10 PP) is a non-offensive Psychic move that switches the user's ability with with the target's.
Yes. The exhaust would be different.
Yes, you will need to change exhaust manifolds, exhaust tubing and intake tubings.

Swap the two wires connected to the Ammeter
The swap will work . You may have to change exhaust pipe, swap the ECM with the one from the 91 engine. You are going to have to look and check the wiring harness in the 96 , You may have to swap the too. Probably be easier just to find a used 2.2L.
unplug the wires and swap, its very simple. plugs are located on the left side of the engine, to the right of the battery.
It's not possible.
yeah its possible...but u have to get intake and exhaust swapped as well
motor mounts are different, exhaust won't line up,
Any other codes? Check to see if any wires are pinched or melted to exhaust. If not then swap with new part and see what happens. If it doesn't work return part and post type of car with question.
