Singapore is surrounded by land. From the north-west to the south-east, there is Indonesia (Java and Sumatra). From the north, it is the whole of West Malaysia. At the east, there is an island of Borneo. The faults lines are further out in the water, hence these countries would have blocked the waves before it reaches Singapore. However, if the earthquake happens between these countries and Singapore (unlikely but never hurts to just put it down), Singapore will be hit by a tsunami.

Singapore would get flooded utterly and nearly the entire island would be submerged underwater, along with large loss of life.

What would happen if a tsunami struck Singapore?

It would cause a large portion of Singapore's population to drown, cause widespread damage to property and generally throw the entire country into a state of chaos. The damage would be further worsened by the fact that Singapore is an Island, which would lead to it easily being flooded. In fact, if the tsunami was strong enough, the whole island could be completely submerged under the roaring waves.

What do other countries dislike about Singapore's behavior?

It would be almost impossible to find a country that is totally against Singapore as Singapore is in the United Nations. When countries have disaster (e.g. the Sichuan Earthquake and the 2003 or 2004 tsunami), Singapore would be one of the first to help the affected countries. I even heard that there was a country that was hit by a disaster and they rejected help from all countries like United States but allowed only Singapore team in. Singapore also does not afford to be disliked by other countries as Singapore has to depend on them for imports which include food.

Should Singapore have nuclear power plant?

Probably unwise: Singapore is a small densely populated island so there would always be people living close to the plant, also if built close to the shore there is potential for tsunami damage. That's just my personal opinion.

No. Singapore has never been hit and will most likely never be hit by one. She is situated in such a way that Indonesia and Malaysia protects her from the waves. Singapore is relatively well protected by natural disasters such as tsunamis and cyclones.
