**Please denote: Glossary is located at bottom of article.

before I begin, I feel it necessary to inform you, the simple-minded readers of today's growing society (whom which I constantly frown upon,) of my inflamatory credentials and thorogh expertice in the Marine Plantationfield.

In the first 10 years of my post-secondary acedemic life, I studied under the supervision and mentorship of Dr. A. Frizzle, PhD, at the University of Illinois, majoring the the field of Marine Plantology. In the feild, I focused on the discoulouration and pigment of algae, rockweed, and other plant residue, so on and so forth. 'Tis then that I became aware of two invasive algae species, Red and Brown Algae, in addition to the uncany logic behind the transmutation of this remarkable species.

Red Algae and Brown Algae, though know by the average uneducated individual as two seprate species, are quite simply, one in the same, as they are differentiated exclusivley by the iron content in which they enduer in thier instinctive habitat.

Less often known by their joint, scientific name, "Eulgencryptobactiriae" was native to eastern Mexico, prior to being conveyed to Northern parts of Ontario, in addition to the Eastern sea board of the United States. Given these expances encopass more than 68% more iron then Eastern Mexico, it is evident that Eulgencryptobactiriae should aquire denser, red appearence, in addition to immunity against anemia.

On behaf of Marine Plantology, I would like to thank you, the uneducated public, for tacking an interest in Eulgencryptobactiriae, aswell as it's evolution appearence, and growth. If you are particularily interested in Eulgencryptobactiriae and would like to become a part of the AlgaeAchievement Program, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the observation and preservation of Algae, I encourage you to visit: www.http://Eulgencryptobactiriae:/AlgaeAchievment.org

With sincere and unpretentious considerations,

J. P. Smith, PhD (Name changed to conseal identity of individual)

What are the colors of algae?

Algae can come in various colors such as green, red, brown, and even blue-green. These colors are due to the presence of different pigments like chlorophyll, carotenoids, and phycobilins that help in photosynthesis and light absorption. The color of algae can also vary depending on the species and the environment they grow in.

Why are red tides called red tides?

Red tides are named for the reddish color they give to the water. This red color is caused by a high concentration of algae that produce pigments, like chlorophyll, that can make the water appear red or brown.

What color is rhodophyta?

Unlike brown and green algae, red algae can assume a great variety of colors. Xanthophylls like lutein yield yellow to orange hues. More typically, however, red algae appear red, violet or bluish due to the presence of accessory pigments like phycoerythrin and phycocyanin. Green prevails when the above colorations are lacking. Overlaping colors or high concentrations of pigments can cause rhodophytes to look brown or blackish. Coralline rhodophytes often appear chalk white.

Why are algae of different colours?

Yes, Brown algae differs from Red and Green algae because Brown algae is used as a thickener in alot of foods. Red and Green algae are used for most of the time for fish and other underwater animals to eat.

What colors can algae be?

Algae can be green, red, brown, or yellow depending on their pigments. Green algae, for example, contain chlorophyll for photosynthesis, while red algae contain phycoerythrin and phycocyanin pigments in addition to chlorophyll. Brown algae possess fucoxanthin pigments.
