it doesnt. the oxygen level in your blood increases because you breathe harder to get more oxygen into your body to take to your muscles. look up blood doping though... (its when athletes take blood out of the body and then excercises... and before competitions, the athletes put the blood back in their body so here is more blood to get oxygenated for better performance, even though it is illegal in most sports). =)
