As much as i know there have never been a much of civilization changes in Africa... and also with respect to the coasts of African continent have never changed for about 40000 yrs and more is what i heard. This clearly indicates that there are less number of earthquakes and Tsunami and that is the reason there were no significant changes in african continent...!! continents like Asia, Australia have had a lot of changes as they were actually formed due to the moving of plates... as we know the himalayas formed when the two plates merged.. australian plate was also moved towards the pacafic it was earlier below India. On a simple note the other continents have moved from different places and formed due to different changes in the earth unlike Africa which has hardly faced any changes or movied from its place.. so it remains very much stable.
