Ball joints on this car, like most, are pressed into the lower control arm. If you don't have a good pneumatic press, you either take the lower control arm off and take it to a mechanic, or just take the car to the mechanic. If the ball joint fails, the wheel falls off. Considering the importance of having the wheels stay on, I would let a mechanic with the proper tools handle this. I do brakes, shocks, struts, tie rod ends, half-shafts, engines, but not ball joints.
