That is a broad question. It may well be referring to one quadrant of the Johari's Window. This purpose of this exercise is to make people more aware of their interaction with others. There are four panes, these being open/arena, hidden/secret, blind, and unknown. The open/arena quadrant or pane of the window is comprised of issues in our lives that we know about us and that others know about us. The blind pane or quadrant is comprised of what others can see in us but we can't see in ourselves. The hidden pane or quadrant refers to issues in our lives that we can't recognize and that others don't see.
