There is no 'correct height' in a bedroom. If you are hoping to watch TV laying on the bed, lie in your most comfortable position, propped by pillows or however you want and then look at the wall. Wherever it is most comfortable is where the TV should be. If you are going to sit on your bed or chair, use the same rule as for a living room; the TV's center should be at eye level.
All video projectors have limitations on the distance from the screen. The question is impossible to answer as all projectors are different. However, every projector manufacturer publishes data to calculate the distance from the screen for any given screen size. They also have data to calculate the height of the projector relative to the screen. It is always safe to select a projector before fixing a position for it. Fixing the distance first can restrict the range of projectors available without good cause. Some more expensive projector have interchangeable lenses and allow a wide range of projection positions. These projectors will be high end projectors and will generally have a price tag of $10000 or more. The height of the projector was mentioned above. This is an important consideration because getting the height correct will allow best quality. Most projectors have keystone adjustment that is electronic. If the height is not quite correct, the adjustment will distort the image on the LCD panel so that it becomes square on the screen. To do this, the image is resized and that process will always reduce the image quality slightly. Getting the height right will avoid the resize.
Virtually all televisions today have a removable base. Most bases use a non-standard mounting system so you will need to read the manual to confirm the removal method. Similarly, virtually all have a "VESA" standard mount on the rear of the case to allow a wall mount to be fitted. There are several different sizes of VESA mount so it is important that you read the manual to find out which size is needed. The VESA standard mounting system uses 4 screws in a square shape so it is easy to recognize in the rear of the television.

It depends upon whether or not you want to be lying in your bed when watching, or you have some other seating you want to use. If you want to lie down, you will want a tilting LCD panel mounted with the center of the screen 4 to 5 feet from the floor. If you are sitting down, you should position the panel so that the middle of the screen is at eye level These positions may not be possible if you have dressers and other items in the room, so you should experiment by cutting out a piece of cardboard the size of the TV, and pinning it to the wall with a poster pin. Try a few different heights and positions to find the most comfortable for you.
