Well the biggest number was at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. I'm not sure of actual numbers but it must be well documented.
If you discount that, the next biggest must be Chernobyl. This occurred during the Soviet era when the Russians were still very secretive. But I think there were a number of direct deaths among firemen, and others very near at the time. Subsequently more long term radiation effects have continued, and more must have died.
I'm not aware of any deaths in the US, Canada, UK, or Europe, due to nuclear energy. There has never been a serious accident like Chernobyl, and operating staff are monitored carefully, especially those involved in fuel handling.
If anyone has evidence I'd like to hear it.
because mainly, of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine, and probably also because of it being so unknown, and because of the stigma relating to nuclear power (Hiroshima, Nagasaki). I guess people are just scared of having two heads.
Nuclear reactions can be both good and bad. They can produce clean energy, like in nuclear power plants, but also be used to create nuclear weapons which have destructive capabilities. The key is in how nuclear reactions are managed and controlled.
Some people believe in nuclear deterrents because they see them as a means to prevent other countries from attacking them, due to the fear of retaliation with nuclear weapons. The concept is based on the idea that the threat of nuclear weapons can deter aggression and promote strategic stability between nations.
Many people mispronounce the word "nuclear" by saying "nucular" because of a process called metathesis, where sounds in a word shift their order. This mistake has been popularized by prominent figures who use the incorrect pronunciation.
New Zealand does not have nuclear power because of the country's strong anti-nuclear stance. This position is influenced by historical events, such as the French government's bombing of the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior in Auckland in 1985. Additionally, the country's abundance of renewable energy sources, such as hydroelectric, geothermal, and wind power, make nuclear power unnecessary.

Any physical sport leaves the possibility of getting injured. Any form of football has people getting injured, some seriously. So it can be unsafe, though the majority of the time there are no real dangers.Any physical sport leaves the possibility of getting injured.
