Hi i hope i can help

well...

1.were not ust to ice or skates so we slip!

2.the friction of the ice with are feet make it slippy for use to do whatever we want on it

3. When you are walking you are pushing the ground and the ground itself is also exerting a pressure on you. so the reaction is you are moving forward. and also another force is also working there which is friction. friction is providing you with grip so you are able to walk. now combine both the ideas above and visualize, you are exerting pressure on the ground and there is also friction, both these forces are acting at the same time and you are able to walk Now, on a sheet of ice, you are applying force just like you did on ground, but due to lack of friction, you tend to and you do slip

so in a less science way its because of less friction!

hope i helped :D

Does rubber keep ice from melting for a long time?

Rubber itself does not keep ice from melting for a long time. However, rubber containers with thick insulation, like coolers, can help keep ice from melting by reducing heat transfer from the outside environment.

How do you keep an ice cube from melting for up to 8 hours?

To keep an ice cube from melting for up to 8 hours, you can store it in a well-insulated cooler with additional ice packs or dry ice. Keeping the cooler closed as much as possible will also help maintain the ice cube's temperature. Alternatively, you can wrap the ice cube in a thick layer of newspaper or aluminum foil to insulate it further.

How hard can ice get and what factors contribute to its level of hardness?

Ice can become very hard, reaching a maximum hardness level due to factors such as temperature, pressure, and the presence of impurities. These factors affect the arrangement of water molecules in the ice structure, leading to variations in hardness.

What can you use to keep ice from melting?

You can use a cooler with thick insulation, ice packs, or dry ice to keep ice from melting for longer periods. Placing a layer of aluminum foil or insulating materials like blankets around the ice can also help slow down the melting process.

How long can a paper cup keep ice cold?

The duration for which a paper cup can keep ice cold depends on various factors such as the thickness of the paper, the ambient temperature, and the insulation properties of the cup. In general, a paper cup may keep ice cold for about 1-2 hours before the ice starts to melt significantly. However, using additional insulation like a sleeve or double-cupping can help extend the duration for which the ice stays cold.
