It seems to be one more step on that road.
If you actually take the time to download and read the 800 pages in the "bailout" plan that passed both houses and signed by the president you will have to agree with the 1 line post before this one. What you need to read next and ask about next is about "Economic Summit" that just happened. We have just sold out to the EU.
AnswerThere is a BBC documentary on Fascism in in America going back to the 1930s. See YouTube link below.
AnswerPeople are getting upset about everything that is happening wrong especially the greatening gap between the middle class and lower class in terms of knowledge. There are many people in the lower class who would love to take out the government and just steal everybody else's money. Presidents have to be careful about that. Reason for the hidden "Deportation to Africa for all black" policy by McCain (BTW no flame). Will try to find a link for all of this soon.
If this were happening, the takeover would not be fascist. Fascist is a term started in Mussolini's Italy that means an iron-fisted government that squelches dissent and breeds a very militaristic culture. Much like Communism except without the economic redistribution. Unfortunately, "fascist" is a term much thrown around these days without any knowledge of its meaning or history.

AnswerEisenhower warned us as he left the presidency that there was a military industrial complex waiting to take over this country.
Independent banks have all but vanished in this country. The current engineered crisis will just about finish them. Economic control will be in the hands of the the corporate entities and banking families that control the banks that make up the Fed.
The families involved have historically incited and profited from war. Their greed spans multiple continents and centuries. See the Rothschild link below.
One of the families involved has a history that is not quite so ancient. The name is Bush. Prescott Bush helped to finance Hitler's rise to power and profited heavily from the sale of steel and gasoline to the Reich. Financial interest s of the Bush family were seized under the Trading with the Enemy Act. See the links below about Prescott Bush and Nazi-American money plot.
Consolidation of Banking in the hands of war-mongering families and corporations = FASCISM.
DID I SIGN ON TO CONSPIRACY.COM/NUT? The democratically controlled Congress are the ones writing the bailout plan not the Bush family. There are places for answers like this nice white walls, soft walls and floors, and lots of tasty medications.
AnswerFascist attacks on the American Democratic system are not just "crackpot conspiracy theory". The American Liberty League (Prescott Bush was a member) actually attempted a coup d'etat in 1934.
The League stated that it would work to "defend and uphold the Constitution" and to "foster the right to work, earn, save and acquire property." The League spent between $500,000 and $1.5 million in promotional campaigns; its funding came mostly from the Du Pont family, as well as leaders of U.S. Steel, General Motors, General Foods, Standard Oil, Birdseye, Colgate, Heinz Foods, Chase National Bank, and Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. It reached over 125,000 members and supported the Republicans in 1936.
Source of the above, see link below ABOUT THE AMERICAN LIBERTY LEAGUE.
The guy that stood up against the American Liberty League was Smedly Butler.
What Butler fought so hard to do was to take the focus off of moral and ideological arguments for war and concentrate on the geopolitical factors that actually motivated war. He tried to raise awareness of what the real motivating factors of war were as well as the consequences of war. He was one of the first Americans to really bring the economic implications of war to the forefront of the public conscience. In War is a Racket Butler "names names" and lays out in wonderfully blunt detail how the American "military machine" was used to the benefit of wealthy American industrialists. He noted how proponents of war typically call on God as a supporter of the cause and how they embellish the mission as one of liberation and the spreading of freedom, but that these people tend to shy away from discussing the economic details of military ventures.
The above is from a source cited in the ABOUT SMEDLEY BUTLER link.
I think you mean socialism not fascism. Yes, this is a step towards socialism as will be universal health care and the government attempting to pay for higher education for all. The more entitlements is society, the greater the reliance on government, the less the motivation to succeed the closer America moves towards socialism.
Yes, after Granada plc's hostile takeover of Forte in 1996, the company successfully integrated and expanded its operations. Granada leveraged Forte's assets to enhance its presence in the hospitality sector, ultimately leading to increased profitability and growth. The takeover allowed Granada to diversify its portfolio and strengthen its market position.
Italy and Germany were the leading fascist Axis Powers during World War II. Japan was another Axis leader, but they weren't really fascist. They were more of a militaristic and authoritarian country during this time period.
A raid typically allows an acquirer to gain control of a target company more discreetly and swiftly than a takeover bid, often involving the purchase of shares on the open market. This method can avoid the lengthy negotiation process and regulatory scrutiny associated with formal takeover bids. Additionally, a raid can create a sense of urgency among shareholders, potentially leading to a quicker decision in favor of the acquirer. Lastly, it may enable the acquirer to avoid the premium prices usually associated with formal takeover offers.
Hitler's party was originally called the Nationalist Socialist Party but was nicknamed the Nazis soon after Hitler became the leading figure in the party. Hitler's actual government was a fascist totalitarian dictatorship.

Italy had a parliamentary democracy from the late 1860s up until the years leading to World War II when Benito Mussolini takes power and raises a fascist regime. Italy's fascist government was similar to Nazi Germany's, which advocated militarism and nationalism, which are quite dangerous when a nation is 100% so.
Italy's Fascist Party was founded by Benito Mussolini in 1919. Initially, it emerged as a nationalist movement that sought to address the political and economic turmoil in post-World War I Italy. Mussolini, a former socialist, later established a totalitarian regime, leading Italy into World War II as part of the Axis powers. The party's ideology was characterized by authoritarianism, nationalism, and militarism.

"Starship Troopers," written by Robert A. Heinlein, is often labeled a fascist book due to its depiction of a militaristic society where citizenship and political rights are granted only to those who serve in the military. The novel presents a worldview that prioritizes duty, sacrifice, and the collective good over individual rights, leading some critics to argue that it promotes authoritarian values. Additionally, its portrayal of war and the glorification of military service can be interpreted as endorsing a fascist ideology. However, supporters argue that Heinlein's work is a critique of society rather than an endorsement of fascism.
The October and February Revolutions brought the end of the tzarist regime and brought the Bolsheviks into power. The civil war ended all communist opposition in Russia, leading to communist takeover.
