Does anyone ever have a feeling that someone is near them even though they are not?

Well I have felt the presence of someone as they walk about a room, but they are not close- I just felt them with a sensation I find difficult to describe yet focused enough to say with my eyes closed where they were. It came with a sensation of wishing to be with them. It was a strong focused and clear attraction that had no apparent connection to any other sense such as smell, sound, sight, touch or even familiarity. The sensation grew more accurate as time passed.
