As a minor, you cannot change your name. Your parents can apply for a name change on your behalf.

However, if you change your legal name, it will be changed on everything, including your passport and Immigration documents.

I will give you an easy idea without much hassle. Go to your teachers and tell them you want to be called (pick your name) and from now on these will be on your work. Now, the school can't change your records or report cards to this new name, but at least you will be using it everyday. I have had students do this, but usually find out when I get a paper with a strange name on it. I ask who ------is and that person tells me they are using that name from now on.

You can ask your teachers and classmates to call you by a nickname or a different name that you feel more comfortable with. You can also explain to them why you prefer that name. However, you will need to provide your legal name for official documents like your citizen card and passport.

Is there an international passport?

Usually your passport depends on your citizenship. If you are a citizen of your country, lets say the USA then you have a US passport. You can also have a dual passport, depending on your citizenship again. You might be a naturalized citizen in one country and a citizen by birth in another. Sometimes, people working for the United Nations or a related organization may have passports issued by the UN.
