Why did Hitler use propoganda to hide the death camps?

Some forms of propaganda used were fake videos of the concentration camps where Jews were in small cafas,playing football,gardening which is the total opposite to hide the truth.They did this because it was an easy way to keep the German public happy and not asking questions on what the soldiers where doing to Jews it would also explain where the Jews were going after being rounded up ;in the streets of places like Berlin.Other forms of propaganda were signs, posters and also the main one the Hitler youth.The Hitler youth was simply created to brainwash children at a young age and to create recruits for when they left and Hitler needed soliders.Children in the Hitler youth were told that if they heard their parents talking about Hitler in a bad way to report it to a staff member or a solider;this created it very hard for doubt to come into the picture as Hitler Basil had small spy's everywhere!!!

The Nazis were a little 'schizoid' with regard to hiding their deeds vs trumpeting them! They were the ones who actually took copious photos and notes regarding their atrocities and killings. While Revisionists today like to argue that there were few killings in Auschwitz and the Lagers (Camps), the Nazis argued the opposite: Hoess reported to Eichmann on one of his visits to Auschwitz that he estimated 4 to 5 million deaths at Auschwitz.

The Nazis in a pathological sense of racial superiority, were at once very proud of their mass exterminations, and at the same time, well aware of what world opinion would bring on the Reich and Germany. They killed millions, recorded their deaths and sufferings obsessively, and then conversely obsessively covered up their deeds until they thought the war would end and they could triumph in them.

Some of their coverups included mass graves, dynamited holes covered in layers by bulldozed earth, and with farms planted on top, e.g. near Belzec. Near Kaunas/9th fort area, bones of the dead were pulverized and sifted into the dirt, under tarps which hid the crime from aerial views. There are photos extant of bone crushing machines which would leave no identifiable traces of death to the naked eye. Even today, excavations for mundane municipal endeavors are unearthing unknown mass graves, among them the stuttgart victims at the airfield and the mass graves in the Ukraine and near Belzec.

Even though the Nazis had no regard for the moral degeneracy of their murders, they knew the world community would, and that they could be tried for war crimes, if they lasted that long after the world community discovered their genocide. That was primarily their reason for covering up their grotesque accomplishments.
