Well, if your crush is a girl (which I am assuming) girls have a soft spot for guys who talk about there moms. It make them think you as not afraid to be sensitive enough to talk about there mom. I would suggest also talking about your grandma, or running up infron of her and giving your mom a kiss on the cheek. It makes girls go "Awww!" its cute when guys do that.
