Of course it could!, as long as people treated others with respectful tolerance at the very least, & understanding others point of view could only promote less hate & anger in the world. This has to start from birth by the parents, & then continue throughout a child`s education as well as at home. Unfortunately we are all human & failable, but (& I`m speaking as an Evangelical Christian), All the world`s major faiths & certainly lesser known ones that I know of teach peace & love of their fellow man (well admittedly Hinduism,as it is practised, at least, in India dosen`t view everyone as an equal, but I don`t know if its become corrupted over the centuries, & miss-taught, like militant Islam, which has nothing to do with the Koran & what it actually teaches.
