Absolutely. Religion was 'invented' before world trade probably so it only works for people with the same belief system, once those different religions clash and have differing views on either realworld events or arbritrary books which their whole religion is based on then there is tension. As long as there is religion there is absolutely no chance of harmony in world (not that there would be anyway)
In short religion holds locals and its worshipers together while pushing the world as a whole apart.
A good example of this is whats going on in Gazza at the moment, the underlying route cause of that is differing Religious views.
All religion teaches "Love one another". But apparently followers idolizes their religion more than the teachings. Follows their religious teachers fanatically and asserts that their own religion or denomination is the true translation of whatever holy scriptures they use. No religion ever unites people. Even in any particular religion, may it be Judaism, Christianity, Islam, etc., they divide themselves into different denominations. So what will unite people? Allow me to relate to you a conversation between me and my Brother-in-law (BiL). BiL: "People of the world will probably unite if some aliens (if they exist) will attack earth." Me; "I agree. But after we repulse the ET attackers, what will happen next?" After a moment of silence, my BiL answered; BiL: "then we kill each other again.."
concentration is independent from religion
"From" really shouldn't be used when describing one's religion. You can be "from" Cleveland or "from" Europe. But you can't be "from" Christianity or Hinduism. You are "of" (a member of, part of) the religion.
The Romans were tolerant of people who had different religions from the Roman religion. As long as the foreign religion did not advocate revolution or immorality and the people paid their taxes, the Romans let them worship as they wanted. The Romans were tolerant of people who had different religions from the Roman religion. "many people have different religions"
No you can not say that. As people have different religions and faiths.
Yes, because of the land and free religion many different people of many different religions lived there.
My parents are both of different religions and it is absolutley not a problem. In the religions present in Albania people believe in one God and he is the same no matter the religion.
There was not really a religion... In America there were so many different religions.
well if there were no religions people would all believe different things but there wouldn't be a religion for that bielief.

To say that Religion is there to divide us is like saying food preference, or any choice-based thing is there to divide us. First of all, religions were started by several different people and groups, so if it was only there to divide us, these people and groups (which span over thousands of years) would have had to agree "Hey, lets divide everyone by making different religions". Not likely, in fact, impossible. Religion, and any kind of belief system or preference, CAN divide us, and oftentimes we allow it to, however it is no more at fault than is our skin colors. The truth is, humans often LOOK to be divided from "those people" because we are afraid of what is different, and we can't bare the thought of being wrong, so we battle against people, thoughts ad things which are in contrast to our own ways of doing life. in closing, t say religion is there to divide us also inadvertently subscribes to the thought that there is a higher power whose purpose is to divide people. We divide ourselves quite fine without a deity helping us. If religion didn't exist, we would divide ourselves shot people from tall people, fat people from skinny people, et cetera. Humans can be dumb like that.
Because different people blogs from different religions.. Answer 2: Different people hold different understandings and act on their ideas.
