The Hindu religion is a very very old religion. It is practically impossible to say how many years ago this religion began. All i can say is that it began when the aryas and anarya lived would be millions and millions of years ago. but hen these two groups split into different religions such as Hindu, Chinese and other religions. This is it.

Certainly not less than 5,000 years. It could even be 10,000 year old. Hinduism had its beginning in aboriginal religions.

Hinduism has existed in India for at least 30,500 years, but probably longer because that's only the age of the earliest Hindu artifact that we have found thus far.
