Hinduism is older
Hinduism is possibly the most ancient formal religion still practised. It is thousands of years older than Islam.
There are certainly conspiracy theories from Hindus that this is the case, but there is no real evidence that this is the case. Islam originated from a mix of Jewish, Christian, Zoroastrian, and Arab henotheist religious traditions. We can see these traditions inspiring key aspects of the Qur'an and Islamic theology. Of the five religions that are considered major in the world today (Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism), all of them originated in Asia.
Islam is an Abrahamic religion revealed by the Prophet Muhammad and was not influenced in any way by Hinduism.

Christianity became dominant as a result of the European colonization of the Caribbean. Hinduism and Islam became prevalent because of the importation of labor from the Indian Subcontinent which is dominated by Hinduism and Islam.
All of the major religions of the world, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Jainism, Zoroastrianism, Shintoism, etc., existed by the 18th century and indeed, had existed for many centuries or millennia by that time.
Hinduism does not have any founder. Supreme god created all the beings and there after Hinduism existed with these beings.
