Hi, There is a perfect answer for this in The Bible.I will be using a Biblical scripture from the 1611 King James Bible out of the book of Wisdom of Solomon. They Had so many dead first born that their wasn't enough living people to bury them.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:5 And when they (Egyptians) had determined to slay the babes of the saints(Israelites), one child (moses) being cast forth, and saved, to reprove them, thou tookest away the multitude of their children, and destroyedst them altogether in a mighty water.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:6 Of that night were our fathers certified afore, that assuredly knowing unto what oaths they had given credence, they might afterwards be of good cheer.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:7 So of thy people was accepted both the salvation of the righteous, and destruction of the enemies.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:8 For wherewith thou didst punish our adversaries, by the same thou didst glorify us, whom thou hadst called.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:9 For the righteous children of good men did sacrifice secretly, and with one consent made a holy law, that the saints should be like partakers of the same good and evil, the fathers now singing out the songs of praise.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:10 But on the other side (The Egyptians) there sounded an ill according cry of the enemies, and a lamentable noise was carried abroad for children that were bewailed.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:11 The master and the servant were punished after one manner; and like as the king, so suffered the common person.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:12 So they all together had innumerable dead with one kind of death; neither were the living sufficient to bury them: for in one moment the noblest offspring of them was destroyed.

The Wisdom of Solomon 18:13 For whereas they would not believe any thing by reason of the enchantments; upon the destruction of the firstborn, they acknowledged this people to be the sons of God.

What are some similarities Easter and Passover share?

Passover is celebrated as a memorial of the Hebrews liberty from Egyptian slavery. It reminds every Hebrew of the day when the Angel of the Lord killed every first born of all the Egyptians starting from Pharaoh to the first born of the beast that lived in the land of Egypt. The Angel of God spared the first born of the Hebrews when He saw the sign of the blood on the lintel and on the two side posts of their homes; the Angel passed over their homes that had the sign of the blood and did not smite the Hebrews' first born. This was the very day when Jesus Christ was crucified as He is the symbol of the first born whom God was pleased to offer Him as a ransom for forgiveness of sin for all mankind not for the Jews alone. Easter is celebrated on Sunday that follows the Hebrews Passover which is the day in which Christ resurrected from the the dead.

What happened on the evening of good fiday?

If you believe as many do, that Jesus died on Passover, than Jesus died at the same time that the Passover Lamb was being killed in the temple. At 3:00 PM. So Jesus is our passover Lamb, the Feast of Passover was only a picture of what Jesus was going to do for us as Hebrew chapter 10 teaches us. There is some thought that Jesus died on Thrs. not Friday, But no matter what, it was the day of Passover. The mix up comes because the day after His dieth was the sabbath (Saturday). But the day after Passover is the day of Unleaven Bread. It is a high day, the same as a sabbath and is none as a sabbath. So that might be what is meant when the Bible says Sabbath.
