There are no social classes, they are forbidden. In Islam everyone is seen as equals, regardless of ethnicity, nationality, race or gender. Unfortunately in countries such as Saudi Arabia, this has been forgotten, resulting in the very influential and wealthy Saudi royal family. hope i helped!

Unlike Hinduism, Islam does not have a formal Caste System that divides people into social classes. It does, however, recognise the difference between free people and slaves. A Muslim cannot be enslaved, but a slave who converts to Islam is not automatically freed, so there can in theory be some Muslim slaves.

More important in Islam, however, is that people are categorised by religion. There are three such categories: Muslims, Protected People (Jews, Christians and Zoroastrians who have accepted Islamic rule) and everyone else.

Muslim society was made up of four classes. The Muslims at birth were the first class, converts were the second class, protected people were the third which included christians, Jews, and Zoroastrians. And slaves were the lowest and fourth class

Answer 1
There are NO Social classes in Islam. Islam believes in the equality of human beings. Almighty God has created all human beings and loves them all. Islam is above caste, color or geographical bounds

Answer 2
Regardless of the equality that Islam ostensibly calls for, there was a class system in the early Caliphates that was not terribly different from other societies at the time. Those with wealth and power who converted to Islam could become nobles and exert political influence. There were also individuals that became large landholders and employed numerous peasants to work the land. Muslims also had more privileges than Non-Muslims in Muslim states. Islam, though provided more measures of equality before the law than other previous or contemporaneous societies. This resulted in many lower-caste individuals in India quickly converting to Islam to acquire more equal treatment.

Technically speaking, Islam believes in the equality of all human beings as they are the off-spring of a single couple-Hazrat Adam and Hazrat Eve (AS). Islam does not believe in social classes. The criteria of superiority in Islam is piety and purity.
