The Old Testament contains no references to the Pharisees.
They are frequently spoken of in the four gospels, and are also mentioned in Acts of the Apostles. Outside of those five books, there is only one other mention of the sect, when Paul says in Philippians 3:5 that he was a Pharisee "concerning the law."
in the bible, they are mainly the pharisees and priests
The word "Pharisees" is in the King James Version of the Bible 87 times. It is in 85 verses. Please see the related link below.

There is no mention of any prohibition on Pharisees having children. In fact, according to the teachings of the Tanach (Jewish Bible), men are incomplete if they remain unmarried and without children. As Torah observant Jews, the Pharisees most definitely would have had children. The proof of this is that the Pharisees are the ancestors of modern Judaism.
The Pharisees in the Bible were a group of religious leaders that studied that word of God and implemented the Mosaic Law. They Believed in God and the spiritual/ heavenly world.
Not all Pharisees were that bad since some believed. Paul was a Pharisee. Hypocrisy is bad in whoever has it and the Pharisees were worse since they were the religious teachers of the day and not only should have known better themselves but they also led many astray from the right path.
The Bible doesn't say when. John quoted Isaiah who simply stated that they were blind.
In the Bible, Jesus criticized the Pharisees for being hypocrites, saying they focused on outward appearances of righteousness but neglected true justice, mercy, and faithfulness. He warned against following their example and emphasized the importance of genuine sincerity in one's beliefs and actions.
