The KKK was formed to kill many of the African American and Jewish people because of the North winning the Civil War. That was the main reason that the first, second, and third KKK was formed and they don't kill anybody anymore because of the intelligence of the U.S special forces who would probably kill most members of the KKK if one of the members was to kill any African Americans or Jews.

It was formed by a bunch of men who hated Jewish people and African Americans. Men would burn crosses and stick them into front yards of Jewish people's houses and African American people's houses and terrorize lots of people.

When the 13th amendment was ratified, all slaves were freed. During the reconstruction era, the KKK was formed in Tennessee 1866 to prevent freed slaves from enjoying their freedom. The KKK was a group of ex-confederates. The KKK prevented freed slaves from voting and getting equality.

The Ku Klux Klan started after the Civil War with a group of white Southerners who were very angry when the war ended. They were angry because the Blacks had won their freedom from slavery and they had lost their slaves. No more slavery meant their lives had changed and they felt threatened.
