Squealing from the engine (ie; it alters according to revs applied) would suggest a belt is slipping somewhere. Squealing that varies according to road speed suggests that the is metal contacting on metal. If it is when you brake, I know that some Korean cars have brake pads that squeal when they are worn to the point of replacement.
I had that happen to me on a Kia once, and it scared me witless to start with!
A loud "squeal" or "screech" - also known as "feedback noise" - is usually only generated if there is an audio input device for an amplifier, for example a microphone, that is being used too close to an audio output device for the same amplifier, for example a speaker.
A belt that is too tight will cause a squeal on a Kia Sportage. To resolve this issues just loosen the tension on the belt.
Common causes of disc brake squeal when braking include uneven brake pad wear, contamination on the brake pads or rotor, and improper installation of the brake components. To prevent or resolve disc brake squeal, ensure proper installation of brake components, regularly inspect and clean the brake pads and rotors, and use high-quality brake pads designed to reduce noise. Additionally, applying a thin layer of anti-squeal lubricant on the back of the brake pads can help reduce noise.
What kind of noise? Hum/click/rattle/knock/squeal?
It's called feedback. The microphone causes a loop, what is coming out if the amp is being asorbed by the mic, sent back to the amp and projected again. The loop causes a squeal.
You are describing a squeak, or a squeal.
It means to make a noise that a Guinea pig makes. Or even more, the noise that a pig pig makes.
Turn your AC on and if the squeal goes away in a couple of seconds it has to do with either the idler pulley or the AC pulley itself. Mine was both.
A short high pitched noise could be described as a squeal or a chirp. It is a sharp, quick sound with a high frequency.
Because you are putting stoppers onto your moving tires, so it makes some noise.
You can get from a dealer. I got them for my 2001 Sonata and it cured the rubbing and noise problem.
A thumping noise on your Hyundai Sonata that accelerates when you go faster might be a tire balance issue or a tire that is coming apart. You might also have an issue with the tie rods.
