They might want to help those countries. Sometimes it is not easy to protest in a country and so people will protest about the problems on their behalf in another country. They might be protesting about things that are unfair in those countries or about what is being done things in those countries to maintain poverty. They could be protesting about what some poor countries do, so they may be protesting against those countries. So there are many reasons people protest about poor countries.
Some can and do protest. In others, people are very poor and it is hard to organise a protest. Some are not well educated. Some find it hard to get together so it is difficult to mount a big protest. They might not be able to travel to the bigger cities to make their protests. They may not even realise the value of protesting. Some countries do not allow freedom to protest so it is more difficult and even dangerous for people to protest in those countries. So there are lots of reasons that some third world countries do not protest.
It is a basic human right in the free world.
Usually not for protesting, but if they break another law during the protest, they may be arrested for that.
