What is effect of air pollution to human beings?

Air pollution, where severe, can cause serious health effects on a population. If air pollution is severe, you can get eye irritation and/or have trouble breathing. People who smoke or suffer from respiratory problems (such as Asthma, lung disease, bronchitis, etc.) are more sensitive. Of course, effects of air pollution will vary for the individual.

While air pollution may or may not cause asthma, it is more likely to trigger an attack if you already have asthma (but not as much as an infection or allergen.)

Smoking will have a much more serious effect on your health than air pollution. If you give up smoking, you will greatly cut down your risk of lung and Heart diseases, and it will make you less likely to suffer effects of air pollution.

Well air pollution affects human health because when we pollut we let gases go in the air gases such as CO2 and others. Are body's breath out CO2 but the air we breath is only 8%oxygen so ur brain and heart need oxygen more CO2 less oxygen u will have trouble breathing and then choke and die. That was one thing but there's one more. The gases we release into the air can get stuck in the atmosphere those are called green house gases we need some o those gases. But if we get to many and tempture will drop and rise in extremely high rates and therefor melting the polar ice caps causing global floods killing tons

Humans are effected greatly by pollution. One major example is global warming. Our ozone layer acts as a shield that does not allow a lot of the suns rays to hit us. As we create more pollution our ozone layer gets destroyed more and more everyday. With all these holes in our ozone, more rays are hitting us. Humans are also polluting our water sources. If we keep this up, our water supplies will run out and harm other organisms living in the underwater environment. We eat those organisms so it comes back to show you that we are effected by every little part of pollution.
