Real estate , and any goods and services produced locally, such as basic foods, alcohol ,public transport etc are cheap.Hotels,bars and restaurants are cheap outside the main tourist areas but not such a bargain in resorts .New cars are said to be the cheapest in europe, but used cars are mostly imported from elsewhere,so are relatively expensive. Anything that has to be imported into bulgaria, such a electric consumer goods,petrol etc are a similar price to elsewhere in europe.
